Philadelphia Flyers' Goalie Phil Myre 1979-81
AS SOON AS BLACK MAN STARTS THROWING YOUR GONE
at 10 second mark.... "the checking of Hunter"... should have been a 5min major for slashing. One of the biggest tools to play the game
The first time he shot it in I thought he might be credited with it because the defenceman was going to bounce it off the back of his goalie's skate. But then the next time he shoots and scores. Man, Doc Emrick totally predicted it! He knows hockey and he knows Hextall.
Only beaten in quality by Carey Price
great playoffs-player shhjon Podein!
Who knows the name of the song that plays in the arena at the very end?
Poulin propp kerr, one of greatest lines here
the best ever....period
Samuelsson was a filthy, dangerous player who should have been run out of hockey, total pos
I can never get enough of watching clips of Ulfie getting lit up. 🤣
Go Stevens
I think McLean let him score so he would be immortalized as the goalie that let in the record breaking goal haha
I miss Gene Hart
Morrison at his best - a slugger who leaves himself wide open, letting his opponent have a free, easy shot at that glass jaw.
Stopping by in December 2024 before Ovekchin breaks this storied record in 2025.
Ovechkin going too break wayne g
Morrison was drunk of something
@GuTO.HGT.02 No. He left himself wide open due to his poor defense, and got tagged fair and square. And his glass jaw did the rest 😂
@@cquilty1dude overall was 95 offense and 65 on defense
Incrível
Ref had to hold dude back. He was trying to destroy Tommy Gunn 😂😂
Morrison got arrogant in this one, he wanted a quick KO and didn’t show any defense in that moment
Soon Alex Ovechkin Soon
WHAMMO. THERE GOES GLASS JAW. CAN DISH IT OUT, BUT CAN'T TAKE IT. POWER. ✌
clean hit. Usually it was Lindros who didnt keep up his head when he often got hit when kept his head down.
Para el 83 su sonido ya estaba estancado
but greatest thing was his own office behind the net/goal. =)
The most shocking thing about this was the massive ass crack flash at 2:09
@DissonantCat Well spotted!
Негр баклажан 🍆
He made this happen as a King. And boy, did he earn that title.
If Morrison trained like he trained for the Foreman fight for his whole career, he would have gone down as one of the great heavyweights. Be R.I.P. Tommy Morrison🙏🏻🥊
One of those punches looked like it broke Morrison's nose
Une légende tommy
So much young talent in Philly and they traded it all away for piss-ass no-talent lazy Eric Lindros.
another team, ulfie getting absoulty crushed,no team-mates to his rescue,0 respect from his own team....again
Clean.
I was once in a position to steal 1 of eklunds jerseys out of the flyers locker room but i chickened out. He is sadly kind of forgotten. Great passer and playmaker he hit propp in the slot in game 6 vs Edmonton man what a game.
It's really pathetic how so many people love to say that Tommy Morrison had a "glass jaw." The man had 52 professional bouts, in the HEAVYWEIGHT division, and lost only 3 times, getting truly knocked out in but 2 of those losses. He went the distance beating George Foreman and starched Donovan Ruddock, two of the hardest hitting heavyweights around at the time. With very few exceptions, any professional heavyweight has the potential to knock out any other fighter on a good day. Tommy absolutely did not have a glass jaw. If anything, he was often an overly offensive and intense fighter, which wreaks havoc on endurance and cardio, with limited defensive skills. This lead to many of his fights being more physically demanding for him than they needed to be. In my opinion, Tommy was a truly amazing addition to an already amazing cast of heavyweights in the 90s.
@greeneyedmonster75 Not really. Morrison's penchant for folding and not being able to recover when tagged/hurt was real - as is clearly shown here. If he had a chin like Mercer (who Morrison knew only too well), or Oliver McCall, this fight would've very likely ended with a different result.
The Duke Got FOLDED🤣🤣🤣
Bentt was "Biggums" in State Property 2 flic. Nore Stepdad😁😁😁
Gene Hart calling a game from the Spectrum and that punk Chelios nearly gettin his head taken off. Man, it don’t get no better than that.
Great play marty
1:30 Shoot the moon !
Foreman : Can Morrison control his burst ! Always spot on
Bentt was chewing Huba ba ba chewing gum in the walk out and he blew a big bubble from the chewing gum . Talk about confidence 😂
Morrison was wildy overrated
Wow. One of the most embarrassing displays of a heavyweight champion I've ever seen 😂😂😂😂
It's funny that Patrick Roy won 4 Stanley Cups, but perhaps the year he SHOULD have won, he didn't! This 1989 team was in my view, better than the 1986 team and also the '93 team. This club had it all and had a 2-1 lead with game 4 in Montreal and they not only didn't win the series, they failed to win another game.
Stevens kept that receipt
Morrison had a terrible chin.
Haha overated white hope
Amazing band! Favourite since the 80’s🎸🎸❤🎉…still have this Live in Japan on VHS😂😂
